  • The small but sturdy Bichon Frisé stands among the world’s most charming and lovable “personality dogs.” Known for their irresistible comedic nature, these dogs have relied on their beauty, intelligence, and charisma to thrive throughout history.

  • A typical Bichon stands just under a foot tall at the shoulder.

  • Their glory lies in a white, hypoallergenic coat—plush and velvety to the touch—with rounded head hair that complements their large, dark eyes and black nose and lips.

  • Bichons are adaptable companions, getting along well with both children and other dogs.

  • Alert and curious, they make excellent watchdogs, but they are lovers, not fighters, and believe that everyone they meet is simply a friend they haven't yet made.

  • Their confident, small size makes them ideal for city living.

  • Bichons are eager learners and love to perform for their family members.

  • Above all, their happy-go-lucky personality never fails to bring smiles and affection wherever they go.
